Authenticity

Checking a document that says Code Kaarigari on it?

Anyone can hand you a piece of paper with our name on it. This page tells you, in under a minute, whether we actually issued it — and what a genuine one always looks like.

Check a document now

Type the verification code printed at the foot of the document, or its document number.

If the document in front of you has no document number, no QR code and no verification code, we did not issue it. There are no exceptions to this — every document we have ever issued carries all three.

The standard

What every genuine document carries
A document numberCK/APT/2026/0001

Always in this shape: CK, a three-letter type code, the year of issue, and a four-digit serial. Every document we have ever issued has one, and no two share it.

A QR codeIn the block at the foot of every page

It opens this site and shows that document's record. If the paper has no QR anywhere on it, it did not come from us.

A 10-character verification code98KS-SNQG-KR

Printed next to the QR. It is generated cryptographically from the document number using a key only our server holds, so it cannot be worked out or guessed — not even by someone who is holding a real document and can read its number.

A content digestSHA-256, first 16 characters

A fingerprint of the facts in the document. The same figures appear on this site. If a salary or a date has been edited in a PDF, the two stop matching.

A seal and a signatureApplied, not printed flat

Our seal is applied over the signature at an angle. A signature block with no seal, or a seal sitting neatly square in a corner on its own, is not our setting.

For employers, banks, universities and visa authorities

How to check, in four steps
Look for the block at the foot of the page

Every genuine document carries a strip across the bottom of every sheet with the document number, who it was issued to, the issue date, the sheet number, a QR code and a verification code.

Scan the QR, or type the code above

It takes about five seconds and needs no account. You will see the document's status and the facts we hold, and you can compare them line by line with the paper in your hand.

Read the status carefully

Valid means we issued it and it stands. Revoked means we issued it and later withdrew it. Superseded means a corrected version exists. Not found means we have no record of it — treat the document as unverified.

If anything does not match, write to us

Send a scan to hr@codekaarigari.com. We would much rather be asked than not.

What we will and will not confirm

Our verification policy
We confirm what is on the document

Whether we issued it, on what date, to whom, and whether it still stands. That is the whole record and it is public by design, because a document nobody can check is worth nothing to the person holding it.

We do not issue documents to people who did not work here

Every document is generated from our own employment records and numbered in a sequence. We do not produce letters as a favour, for a fee, or at anyone's request other than the person named on them.

We report forgeries

If you send us a document we did not issue, we will tell you so in writing, and we will report it to the authority you are acting for if you ask us to.
